What is an injunction?

An injunction is a legal order that someone can apply for if they have been a victim of domestic abuse.

There are two types of injunction orders:

  • Non-Molestation Order: This order protects you and/or your child from being threatened or harmed by the abuser.
  • Occupation Order: This order determines who is allowed to live in the family home or enter the surrounding area.

If the person named in the injunction breaches the order, they can be arrested. This page provides details on how to apply for an Occupation Order.

If you are considering an injunctions, please request a consultation or schedule a meeting 07404974755

Consultations are only available on a paid basis and by prior appointment.
